Why we exist

To relieve hardship and restore hope.

Three commitments guide everything the Trust does, from the first pound received to the moment it reaches someone who needs it.

0 1

Help that is practical

We support people facing poverty and hardship with essential aid, from food and clean water to emergency relief.

0 2

Run entirely by volunteers

The Trust is run by volunteers, so donations can go directly towards helping those in need.

0 3

Every penny spent with care

We make considered decisions, keep clear records and ensure every donation is used responsibly.

Why we exist

Small acts of kindness, carefully put to work

Careful by nature. Overheads are kept to a minimum and every decision is made by the trustees.

Where we work

Rooted in the UK, reaching further afield

Most of our giving supports people experiencing poverty here at home. We also fund long term projects and emergency relief overseas, wherever trusted partners can put help to good use.

United Kingdom
Close to home
Where the Trust began, and where much of our support is offered today, quietly and in confidence.
Asia
Alongside local partners
We support organisations who are already part of the communities they serve, so help feels familiar and arrives with care.
Africa
Support that lasts
We favour work that keeps going year after year, and we are glad to help when communities need us most.
What we do

Four ways we relieve financial hardship

Careful by nature. Overheads are kept to a minimum and every decision is made by the trustees.

Food and essentials
We support projects that provide food, clothing and everyday necessities to people facing poverty and financial hardship.
Clean water
We fund water projects that give communities reliable access to clean water, improving health and easing everyday hardship.
Disaster relief
When natural disasters strike, we help provide emergency food, shelter and essential supplies to affected families and communities.
Support for families
We provide practical financial support to widows, orphans and vulnerable families, helping with essential needs and providing stability when it matters most.
Why we exist

Whether you need support or want to offer it

The Trust is for everyone who wants to help, and for everyone who needs a hand.
